Well here it is, a blog post!
I’m sitting around trying to figure out what I should wear to be in a metal band. Don’t worry, we’re not having a sudden change in musical direction; it’s a college thing. Me and Smokes are in a group that has to play two metal songs and we have managed to do so despite both of us being very non-metal. The difficult part is dressing to look the part.
Last night I was in a “Live Dance” band, and, bef ore you ask, I don’t know what “Live Dance” is either.
The tour is going ahead this summer with Nigel Passey, Sean Clark will be accompanying me on acoustic guitar, vocals and el cajon. Basically he’s stupidly talented. That should be a good laugh, tour dates will be up very soon so you know where we’re gonna be!
In other news, Thad, Spaceman and myself will be filming for BBC Raw Britannia, a show filmed in Hull aimed at broadcasting British talent abroad! That’s taking place on 6th July and rest assured there will be ample footage. Speaking of footage: check out Thad’s video of us in the studio recording Lovin’ You. Some classic moments…

We’re very hopeful of Chris Dawkins joining is in the studio for the BBC filming shindig and full congratulations to him and Caroline after the arrival of their baby girl Marliyah! Smokes won’t be filming with us as he will be in Germany on his holidays and has been kicked out of the band for lack of effort…
As I’m sat here I suddenly have the urge to record again, new songs. I will be writing with Jamie and Thaddius for a coupla weeks on July and we’re very excited for what’s going to come next for the band.
